I'm so excited to be teaching at Coterie Commons. (See directions and parking info below) This watercolor class is designed for artists of all skill levels who are interested in exploring the creative possibilities of this medium. In the first half of the class students will learn fundamental drawing techniques, such as line, shape, and composition, as well as watercolor techniques, including washes, glazes, and wet-on-wet applications. Students will become familiar with color theory and mixing colors. In the second half of the class students will apply what they learned to a final piece of their choice. All supplies are included. We will be using materials and brands I have found help with high quality results for my students and my professional use.
Class sizes will be small for more personalized teaching.
